Computer Science & Engineering Department

The Computer Engineering Department has been established with an aim to prepare technocrats in the field of Computer, Software and Data Science. The department has developed a Computer Centre with 450 Nos. of computers connected in LAN with 35 Mbps internet connectivity and latest licensed applications & system softwares. To emphasize more on practical aspects with current trends and technologies, the department has developed various laboratories like Open Source Technology Lab, UNIX Lab, Network & Security Lab, Programming Lab and Project Lab including R&D Centre.


Towards a global knowledge hub, striving continuously in pursuit of excellence in education, research and technological services to the society and the nation.


To produce Best Quality Computer Engineers by imparting quality training, hands on experience and value education, strengthen links with Industry through partnerships and collaborative developmental works, attain self-sustainability and overall development through Development Activities and extend technical expertise to other technical Institutions of the region and play a lead role in imparting technical education.

MOU Signed

  1. Department has signed M.O. U. with LoftySoft AB (Sweden), Getwings Technologies Pvt. Ltd (Ahmedabad) for setting up “IoT Lab” and Centre of excellence in future.
  2. Department has signed M.O. U. with D-Link for D-Link Academy – An authorized Training Centre for D-Link certified Network Engineers.
  3. Department has been nominated as “Resource Centre” for Spoken Tutorial by IIT, Bombay, A project founded by MHRD, Government of Maharashtra.
  4. Department is running out academic interface programs like “IBM Academic initiative” and “TCS-AlP”

Program Educational Objectives


To inculcate ability in creativity & design of computer support systems and impart knowledge and skills for analyze, design, test and implement various software applications.


To provide students with a strong foundation in the mathematical, scientific and engineering fundamentals necessary to formulate, solve and analyze engineering problems and to prepare them for graduate studies, R&D, consultancy and higher learning.


Explore real life problems, design computing systems apt to its solutions that are technically sound, economically practicable and socially satisfactory.


To exhibit leadership capability, triggering social and economical commitment, inculcate community services and protect environment.
